ORDERING AND MERCHANDISE RETURN POLICIES

PHONE ORDERS
When you call please have the part number and a brief description of the items you want ready.

MAIL ORDER
Be sure to include your phone number with your order, both home and work.

BANKCARDS
We accept Mastercard or Visa. A $25.00 minimum purchase on all charge card orders is required. Sorry, no volume discounts on charge cards.

CHECKS: $15.00 CHARGE FOR RETURNED CHECKS
Personal checks are accepted by mail order only. A $25.00 minimum purchase is required. Orders will be held until your check clears your bank (approximately 3 weeks).

FOREIGN ORDERS
All foreign orders must be prepaid in U.S. funds only. All foreign sales are final.

UPS (United Parcel Service)
We ship almost everything by UPS-it is normally the quickest and least expensive method of shipping. UPS will not ship to a P.O. Box.

TRUCK SHIPMENTS
The larger and heavier items cannot be shipped by UPS and must be sent via motor freight. All truck shipments must be prepaid. All sales involving truck shipments are final.

DAMAGE CLAIMS
Make sure you inspect all packages in the presence of the carrier. If you receive a package that has been damaged or opened, make a claim with the driver at that time. All claims of loss, damage or destruction must be made by you to the carrier.

REFUSED SHIPMENTS
Permission must be obtained prior to returning merchandise. All authorized returns must be shipped prepaid. If you refuse your shipment for any reason, we pay shipping both ways to get the merchandise back. All refused shipments are subject to a 20% restocking fee plus freight charges both ways, and will be billed accordingly. Unauthorized returns will be refused. No exchanges and no refunds will be made after 30 days of purchase or without sales receipt. No electrical parts, literature or truck freight items are returnable.

CREDIT CARDS
Truck Shop/Car Shop accepts Visa and Mastercard, (bank issued only), no gift cards or rebate cards. Card must have users name imprinted. Valid drivers license with photo ID & 2nd form of ID required. Name on Drivers license must match name on credit card, no exceptions! When placing your order, be sure to indicate the card holders name, address, phone number, credit card number, expiration date and billing address (we only ship to the billing address). A security code may be required for credit card purchases.
Minimum order is $25.00.

IN THE EVENT OF DAMAGE TO ANY SHIPMENT
Please follow these instructions:
1. Damaged merchandise must be kept in the original (outside) carton for UPS inspection. PLEASE DO NOT RETURN DAMAGED PARTS TO TRUCK SHOP.
2. There is a UPS depot near you, contact UPS for inspection. If not, otify us immediately, of all damage. We will contact UPS and let you know what to do with the damaged merchandise.
3. Before accepting the shipment, count the cartons to be sure you are receiving the quantity listed on the bill of lading. If there is a shortage, note the shortage on the freight bill.
4. Examine the shipment immediately. In the event of damage, NOTIFY DELIVERING CARRIER. He will furnish a "Concealed Damage Report" form which must be used as part of your claim. The other necessary papers are a copy of the paid freight bill, copy of the invoice, and the bill of lading.
5. File your claim for the full value. of the damaged items as listed on the invoice.

TRUCKER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR BREAKAGE IN TRANSIT.

Our Parcel Post shipments are covered by Post Office Insurance.

DO NOT RETURN DAMAGED PARTS TO US. Should any of the contents be damaged, you must submit the ENTIRE container and damaged merchandise to your local Postmaster, who will then institute a claim.

SPECIAL ORDERS
All special order products must be pre-paid in full and are non-returnable.
Absolutely no returns on any/all special orders of any nature.

BACK ORDERS
Any items not in stock and not expected for 3-10 working days will placed on back order and shipped as soon as possible.

MERCHANDISE RETURNS • EXCHANGES • REFUNDS
All returns, exchanges or refunds are based on date of purchase, not the date of installation.
All shipments must be inspected upon receipt. Any issues must be reported to Truck Shop/Car Shop within 3 working days. At that time Truck Shop/Car Shop will advise and direct proper handling and/or return.
Truck Shop/Car Shop is not responsible if no notification is given after 3 working days of receipt of goods.
Should you need to return a part for refund, exchange or credit, please contact our customer service department for a return authorization number and instructions.
Truck Shop/Car Shop will not accept returned goods without prior authorization. Customer will pay freight on all return orders.
All returned merchandise must be accompanied by a letter of explanation giving DATE merchandise was ordered, and NAME merchandise was ordered under. Return items must be sent PREPAID. Any return items are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Unauthorized returns will be refused.
No exchanges and no refunds will be made after 30 days of purchase or without sales receipt.
Absolutely no returns without a legible itemized written or printed receipt. Credit card statements do not qualify as proof of purchase.
Special orders, literature, printed materials, stencil/stripe kits, electrical parts, wiring harnesses, tools or truck freight items are non-returnable.
Items that are defective and under warranty will be eligible for exchange only.

INSTALLED ITEMS
If any product is modified, altered, painted, installed or disassembled in any way, the item is non-returnable.
Any item which has been altered, painted, installed or deemed non-resalable by Truck Shop/Car Shop will be returned to the customer at the customers expense.
If a part purchased from Truck Shop/Car Shop is installed and deemed defective, Truck Shop/Car Shop will exchange defective part(s). However Truck Shop/Car Shop will hold no liability, responsibility, written, or implied otherwise for any cost of repairs, reimbursement of time, labor and/or any expense regardless of circumstances which are beyond our control.
Truck Shop/Car Shop is not responsible or liable for labor fees associated with the installation, removal, modification, painting or repair of any product purchased regardless of the circumstances.
Truck Shop/Car Shop is not responsible for any damage or discoloration incurred in relation to chemical products being used including cleaners, waxes, polishes, paints, etc.
Having no control over any/all installation(s) Truck Shop/Car Shop assumes no liability written or implied.
For liability purposes Truck Shop/Car Shop cannot provide technical information on how parts are installed. Truck Shop/Car Shop is not certified to offer this information and cannot be held responsible for any/all installations. Truck Shop/Car Shop always recommends professional installation on all products.
Gift certificates have no cash value and must be redeemed for merchandise only.
Note: When using this catalog "Left" or "LH" is the driver's side and "Right" or "RH" is the passenger side.

TRUCK AND CAR SHOP SHEET METAL
Most panels are E-D-Primer coated and are carefully packaged to protect against damage that may occur during transit. Most parts are individually boxed for damage free shipping. However, after overseas transport and cross country delivery to you, it is likely there could be a small ding or minor scratch. These minor blemishes cannot be helped and are considered normal due to the nature of the product. Test fit all panels prior to paint and installation.

Any physical damage in transit must be reported to delivering carrier at time of delivery.
